Applied Creativity across Domains

Through over half a century of exploration, researchers tend to agree that creativity is both domain-general and domain-specific. Domain-generality refers to cross-domain creative thinking or problem solving skills and there is ample empirical evidence suggesting that such skills can be trained. Domain-specificity means that in order to make creative achievement, one needs domain knowledge and relies on the evaluation of the domain. Our training program integrates both aspects and draws experts from a variety of domains, including education, business, and technology, etc. Topics of the summer school include:

  • Creativity in Business
  • Creativity in IT
  • Creativity in Education
  • Creativity in Psychology
  • Creative Problem Solving
